Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data this website collects, why, how long it is kept, who else handles it, and how you can use your rights.

Who is responsible
The data controller is FOSIA Ltd, the company of Fokwa Siaka, Norrsken House, KN 78 St, Kigali, Rwanda. For any question about your data, write to info@fokwasiaka.com. I answer within one to two business days.
What I collect, and why
When you write to me
The contact form asks for your name, email, company, website (optional), the service you are interested in and your message. I use them only to answer you. The form sends your message to my mailbox; it is not stored on the website. Legal basis: your consent, given when you send the form, and the steps you ask me to take before working together.
When you book a call
The booking tool asks for your name, email and the answers you choose to give about your business. I use them to hold the call and prepare it. Legal basis: the steps you ask me to take before working together.
When you buy a guide or a service
The shop records what you need for an order: name, email, billing details and the order itself. Card and Mobile Money payments are handled by the payment provider; I never see or store your card number. Legal basis: the contract between us, and my legal obligations for accounting and tax.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
I keep your email address, and your name if you give it, to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. Legal basis: your consent.
When you visit the website
With your consent, Google Analytics measures how the website is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. I use it to understand what is useful and improve it. Without your consent, no analytics cookie is set. The server also keeps short technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the website secure. Amaso, my own visibility tool installed on this website, records technical data about visits from search engines and AI assistants, and the addresses of pages that could not be found, so I can fix broken links. It does not build a profile of you.
When you message me on WhatsApp
If you contact me on WhatsApp, your number and messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy. I use them only to reply to you.
How long I keep it
- Messages and call bookings: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Orders and invoices: as long as accounting and tax law require.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
- Server security logs: a few weeks.
Who else handles your data
I only share your data with the services that run this website, each for its own task:
- Hostinger: hosting of the website and its email tools.
- Google: analytics, only with your consent.
- MailerLite: sending the newsletter.
- Payment providers used at checkout, for orders.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact me there.
Some of these services store data outside Rwanda, including in the European Union and the United States. When that happens, I rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards for your data, as Rwandan law requires. I never sell your data.
Your rights
Under Rwandan law you can ask to see the data I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, to object to its use, or to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@fokwasiaka.com: I answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the National Cyber Security Authority of Rwanda (NCSA).
Cookies
The website uses the cookies it needs to work (for example the shopping cart). Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
