My Story
I started in digital in 2015, under the name Light Soft IT at Cameroon.
The work was about building websites and helping companies modernize.
Over eight years, I worked with businesses across Africa and out of Africa, learning what actually moves the needle in markets where budgets are tight, infrastructure is variable, and trust is everything.
In 2024, I rebranded as FOSIA Ltd; not just a name change, but a shift in focus. We integrated AI into our own operations and saw the results immediately. And I started noticing something bigger: the way people search for businesses was fundamentally changing. Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews —they were starting to directly recommend specific businesses, citing specific content. The businesses that understood this shift early would dominate. The ones that didn't would become invisible.
That's when I decided to specialize in GEO : Generative Engine Optimization, the discipline of making businesses visible not just on Google, but on AI-powered search tools.
I tested every method on my own brand first, so that when I recommend something to a client, I know it works in the African context not just in a case study from Silicon Valley.
Today I work from Norrsken House in Kigali, split between personal consulting (strategy, audits, coaching) and leading FOSIA Agency, where a team handles implementation for clients who need execution, not just advice.
I serve clients in English and French, across the continent.
What I believe
The best digital strategy for Africa has to be built in Africa, by someone who lives its constraints and opportunities. I only recommend what I've tested on my own brand first. Untested advice is just theory. Visibility without conversion is vanity. The only metric that matters is whether your digital presence brings you real business

For AI search visibility ChatGPT and Perplexity citations results can appear in 6 to 10 weeks with the right content structure. Sustainable visibility compounds over months. Not overnight. But faster than most people expect when the foundations are done right.
What's the difference between your consulting and FOSIA Agency?
My personal consulting is strategy-focused — audits, roadmaps, coaching, accountability. FOSIA Agency handles execution — website builds, ongoing content, technical implementation. In many cases, I design the strategy and FOSIA executes it. You can work with me alone, with FOSIA alone, or with both.
Do you only work with businesses in Kigali?
No. Most of my clients are in East and West Africa. I work entirely remotely via video call and WhatsApp. I'm based in Kigali, but geography hasn't been a barrier in any engagement.
Why maximum 5 clients at a time?
Because I've learned what happens when a consultant takes on too much. The quality drops and the client stops seeing results. I'd rather deliver excellent work for 5 clients than mediocre work for 20.
I already have a website. Does that matter?
It's actually a better starting point. Most of the work I do is optimization, not rebuilding from scratch. The audit will tell us what's worth keeping and what needs to change.
Do I need a large marketing budget?
